Please note – From the 1st June 2026, Dr Khuroo’s Practice will be changing  GP appointments to complete online triage

For patients who have reasonable adjustments, no access to online service or are housebound, reception will be able to assist you with this.

Chaperones

A chaperone is an independent person, appropriately trained, whose role is to independently observe the examination/procedure undertaken by the doctor/health professional to assist the appropriate doctor-patient relationship.

All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required. The doctor may also request to have a chaperone present.

Before any examination is performed, you will be asked if you would like a chaperone present. If you would, a member of the practice team will be asked to enter the room for the duration of the examination.
